Chapter Meetings
We hold chapter meetings monthly, September through May, on Zoom. MWA Midwest meetings are open to all.
Next Meeting
October 15
7 p.m. Central/8 p.m. Eastern on Zoom
Our meeting this month will look at one of the most important characters in crime fiction: the villain. Presenters Kerry Savage and Samantha Skal of Shadows & Secrets Writing Retreats will cover what a twist is and isn’t and how knowing your villain’s journey through the story is the key to ideating twists that land. There will be ample time for Q&A at the end, so please bring your twist and villain questions!
